    If you are close to 60 or over, and think this will be over within 12 months (no CGT relief, and holding a 7 digit parcel).

    One option is a SMSF and do an off market transfer.

    I did this before PL2 thinking it would be all over, and only up for 15% tax.

    You will however realise CGT on whatever you are showing and time of transfer, so budget for that.

    Now I'm 61 and hoping maybe next year I'll retire (at least on paper and pull out a huge lump sum), but it'll only be 10% with CGT relief.
