    Hey everyone,

So Buddy charge from $1500 p/m recurring for the use of the devices (base stations plus sensors).

Dave has mentioned that they wanted to make sure people could 'pay back' the device in under 12 months from an energy saving perspective. Basic energy efficiency argument.

Obviously to save money from power you will only want to pay it off once, not every year.

I can see that they will need to discount the price over time to retain customers or add value in other ways. I know its early days and they are going for market share but I can see this being a question from subscribers pretty quickly after they realise some short term energy efficiency gains through using the device as a diagnostic tool.

    Thoughts?
