The separate, non-related to my querie, issue you have raised relating to company reps on public forums..??? Something ive been thinking about of late but i think anyone willing to stand up behind a company to face up against all the slag that gets thrown around on public forums is a brave person. I do see this as a positive but i suppose one needs to aware of the smooth over guys.

The "smooth over guys" is correct. It's called marketing - the business of selling shares like it was soap powder in the supermarket. The higher the sp (warranted or not) the more money for management to keep the nice salaries and bonuses and performance (?) shares coming in.
