bellcurve, my experience (although not in graphite) with international seminars and showcasing products suggests that one can never predict who said what and what agreements were met.
Networking is a necessary part of business and interested parties do watch and wait for the right moment. I seriously suspect AXE met with interested groups, and soft talks occurred, but my bet is on AXE wanting to prove up their product before accepting concrete deals. That being said, the frequency in which we are hearing other companies announce offtake deals is just picking up so I suspect AXE have been approached in some capacity. imho
