Have been watching the CXA trades today.

800k out of 2.9m sharers traded have been CXA trades. The last 7 of the 48 trades today have been CXA trades and they have all jumped those sitting in the queue on the ASX at 2.8c

So the CXA trades and the ASX trades work independently of each other.

I can see how traders who want to beat the queues waiting for a buy or sell on the ASX, would find it preferable to trade on the Chi-X exchange. Especially if there are other side benefits, that the Chi-X alludes to.

You could wait all day to make a sale on the ASX and someone sells in 5 mins on the CXA?

As I type some big sales have gone through at 2.7c, obviously not the announcement that those holders have wanted. 2m shares trades in about 5min.

Now 76 trades for 5m shares, 1.7m traded on the CXA, last price 2.7c.

Pressure on ABU to fall back again!
