Correction

In Troubled vision (Biotechnology, September 11), share prices quoted for the Perth laser technology company Q-Vis failed to take account of a capital reconstruction that was applied to the scrip. The peak price achieved by Q-Vis, adjusted for the split, was $5 and not the quoted value of $9.97.

Professor Ian Constable's stake in Q-Vis was therefore worth $55 million at its peak, not $100 million as reported.
