No one has actually said that this is good nor bad news. The thread is quite neutral in its entirety.
What I was saying is that if an announcement is not made within the specified time, ASX will place the company in a suspension. Just like a trading halt only different.
The suspension does not change the fact that an announcement is due regarding the West African interest as per their notice to the ASX.
As you said a suspension could also be very bad news...
I'm sitting on the fence on this one..
