    I don't think the Dairy Industry is a good example. The big end of town (can't say business names or I'll be deleted) say "OK, we're paying you 50 cents a litre, take it or leave it). It's then up to the farmer to make it profitable or get out. The big boys control the price because the 2 biggest players control 67.5% of the supermarket industry, so the price is not market driven. Almost everyone buys milk (don't start on about vegans), while you're buying your cheap milk you'll get your groceries too. Gets you in the door. Then we get the big boys patting themselves on the back saying they're helping with 10 cents when they started the milk price war! And you pay more for water then milk! Maybe I've become cynical in my old age.

    But I get what you're saying. Just feel for the poor dairy farmers.
