Time to start the process of estimating the net profit for the latest quarter.
I'll put my money on $US25mil - an analyst that visited AVM's operations late last month says that production at Dikulushi is now expected to be above previous expectations which sounds like a qtr on qtr increase.
Production from Kulu should also increase but sales(and therefore profit) from Kulu will be significantly above the previous qtr as only about 50% of June qtr's production was sold in that qtr.
Offsetting these positives will be the fact that the unit price recd for copper will decrease by around 5 to 7%.
But overall still expecting profit to increase by some 10% from $22.5mil to $25mil.
