Very very rarely can the blame lie entirely with one side of a problem. I doubt very much it is true with Qantas. Relations are usually toxic when suitable outcomes are just too far apart. Perhaps both sides are being unreasonable on certain issues.

The recent case of Qantas losing ground work contracts has to make you ask a few questions. The market appears to be saying that other companies are cheaper and more efficient. You would have to concede that staff would have something to do with that, not just mgmt.

Mgmt may well be very very poor, but I would be suprised to learn that staff earnt more or were happier working for the companies that now hold those contracts.
