Engines are now repaired in China, and regularly fail in flight. Aircraft are sent to the Philippines, and other dubious repair facilities. The premium brand is being downsized to expand the jetstar budget operation that doesnt make a profit ! Any wonder international is in the red propping up Jetstar ! Management will make whatever shorterm decisions necessary to pursue their KPIs and get their bonuses, and then leave. Qantas is a mere skeleton of its former self ! GLTA @ QF whats left of it !
