Yes, quite a number of companies have repaid these Jobkeeper payments, (none received a $2.7 Bn taxpayer funded handout of course).
Goodness, that misleading comparative remuneration with the USA is being recycled for QAN, a quasi monopoly. In the USA, there is real competition, and you have to demonstrate real results.
QAN is also about 30% (or more) foreign owned, and QAN mistreats its frontline workers.
Assuming the former QAN CEO receives the full $24 m termination payout, his aggregate remuneration for his 15 year tenure is reported at or about $150m, one of, if not the highest paid airline executive globally.
