If 'we're so smart', why did so many Australian 'public health experts' (including epidemiologists) proclaim that thousands of intensive care beds in Australia would be needed because of this 'pandemic?'

At present I don't believe there's a single intensive care bed occupied due to COVID-19.

Of the 909 deaths - most of which are attributable to Daniel Andrews' arrogance in initially declining to allow Australian Defence Force personnel to supervise what became the botched hotel quarantine program - many may have died 'with coronavirus rather than 'of' it. Yet we've shut down sections of the economy (including much aviation and accommodation) for no justified reason, and scared people away from booking to go interstate as they know state Premiers might close a border again at a second's notice.

The fact is that these health 'experts' have made numerous incorrect predictions. The lunacy with which the state Premiers are continually shutting down state borders costs QAN a lot of money. No end in sight (regrettably).

There's little doubt that Mr Joyce has alienated a fair percentage of Australians in making his pronouncement on vaccinations. With QAN in such financial trouble, even if this CEO believes that the only potential passengers miffed are 'occasional Jetstar travellers', can he afford to be going beyond his remit as the head of an airline?

Governments, not Mr Joyce, make vaccination decisions and stipulate any requirements. Various travel industry groups worldwide have different positions on this matter.
