QAN does not try to game the slots at SYD/ MEL like IAG (BA/Iberia) does at LHR/ LGW/ MAD/ BCN. Why is this? Does the Sims/ Bob Hawke-controlled ACCC have power over competition for slots at SYD/MEL? Is their some sort of anti-trust law in Australia that prevents this?
I would have thought QAN and AIZ would do exactly what IAG, EZJ, A (American Airlines) and the rest do at their slots either side of the Atlantic with absolute impunity.
