Read your post and had a bit of a laugh because had the survey been "The most expesive airline in the world" then Qantas would fill the number one spot hands down! and I doubt that a tag of being "the most expensive" is worth having.
I don't think that augers too well for the future and people are starting to take notice.
I had never travelled with anyone else (except on long journeys where I would use the Qantas partner) and one day recently I decided for the sake of a $1,200 saving by flying Singapore Airlines then I would forget my Qantas F.F. points for the sustantial saving. Well I can tell you that Singapore have won me over not only on price either.
