Hmmm ... tonight Julia needed to reminded of some history.

Rudd signed his own death warrant in June 2010 when he 'backflipped' on his promise of ETS in 2007 election ... remember ... "the greatest moral challenge of our time."

Julia went to the election "there will be no carbon tax with me as PM" ...

A week before the 2010 Election with Polls showing Labor as 'dead duck' ... Julia mumbles something about an ETS given Labor strategists believe support evaporating over the Rudd ETS issue.

Fact: Carbon tax is tax determined by Govt. ETS is carbon tax determined by the Market. Both are taxes.

No carbon tax but yes an ETS is an oxymoron Julia !!!

For some reason, folks think an ETS is preferable to a Carbon Tax ... they tend to think it will be cheaper but there is no evidence of this yet.

Who will bet me that in 5 years from how we shall be reading books written by scholars about the BIG INCONVENIENT GREEN LIE that has enslaved the global community with the best intention but managed by naive, incompetent Marxists who failed to make a dent in global carbon emissions and the only winners were the Phd turks who created a huge derivatives Carbon Market enriching themselves along with their Bankster mates et al.
