I don't think the average punter can appreciate just how deep the divisions are amongst family groups, clan groups.
The suspicion that percolates, that a particular decision or attempt to remedy a failure is seen to be favourable to one group but not another.
These mindsets are deeply embedded and often result in confrontation, usually physical.
Mediation rarely resolves anything and often there is just a downright refusal to talk in the first place.
Any path for a better, sustainable future has to begin with the people themselves!
