More than 700 pieces of luggage has reportedly been lost by Qantas, affecting passengers travelling between Los Angeles, London, Sydney and Melbourne.
Airline staff are working to reunite passengers with the various suitcases, bags and backpacks that have piled-up at international terminals in Sydney and Melbourne.
According to the Fairfax press a fault in the baggage handling system in L-A caused is believed to have started the problems.
Qantas won't confirm how many bags have been lost.
