Sky news is reporting the Fair Work Australia ruling as a win for Qantas.

Sky news and other private media outlets are reporting a mistruth here. The Fair Work Australia ruling has absolutely unequivocally condemned the Qantas management for the grounding of it's aircraft and lockout of it's staff. The FWA ruling also has 'FORCED' Qantas management to the table to engage in MEANINGFUL negotiations with the unions. This is what the unions wanted in the first instance, the union strike action was only undertaken because Qantas management refused to engage in discussions on job security.

The fact of the matter is the CEO Alan Joyce has no regard for Australia or Australians at all. FWA could have been called into action by Qantas management earlier if they wished. But Qantas CEO Alan Joyce chose to leave a message with Julia Gillard knowing full well that she could not receive the message or return the call because she was in a conference room at CHOGM with other commonwealth leaders. in doing this Alan Joyce has displayed a 'spoilt brat' attitude. It's not surprising that Alan Joyce has acted in a very UN-AUSTRALIAN manner, he, like the engineering staff that he would like to employ, is not Australian.

Mr Alan Joyce states that Qantas is struggling as he gives himself a 71% payrise ??? that makes sense! What about leading by example Mr Joyce!!
