qantas cabin crew - old & over it

Usually always get booked on Singapore or Thai Airways for international flights, but lately been sent on Qantas. Never flown Qantas international before and can not believe that an major carrier would allow staff to perform like Qantas crew do. I'm used to young smiling Singapore girls who although the smiles maybe fake(so what it's their job), just can not do enough for you the passenger, even make people close their window shades if the sun is glaring in on people in the aisle, and tell rioting kids to "return to their seats "now" and be quite"... Walking onto a Qantas flight first thing I noticed was the shear age of the crew, I mean what is a 50+ year old woman still doing pushing trolleys up and down an isle and how pumped up for the job is she after 10,000 flights of "would you like coffee with that sir"... in general the service was non-existant except when at formula one speed the meal ( which I will say was good food) was served and then collected when finished. I'm fairly sure that Singapore airlines have a 45 year old policy on cabin crew unless they are the top girl with the different coloured dress on (try putting a Qantas girl in a Singapore Airlines uniform, mission impossible!!). The male crew are just as bad, they are non smiling & sour faced and seem to look down with an air of arrogence, they seem to think it is a terrible inconveniance to have to actually serve a customer. Qantas check counters are no better. Most people in Australia know no different due to Qantas's massive frequent flyer program that 7 million plus Australians are now members, and so Qantas gets repeat business "not" because of Qantas service, but because people want their air miles... if a few more people flew Singapore Airlines I think that Qantas would start losing some business, lots of business...

Australians do not make good servants, Qantas proves this fact.

I must add that Qantas domestic are slightly better.
