An airline that flies on its country oil will always have cheaper surcharge than and airlines that buys. Qantas has slowly become another the victim of this country.

A lot of people here say any other Asian carriers provide better service, indeed, their jobs are on the line with their smile and they are cramped 3 -4 people into one hotel room to keep cost down.

I have flown BA, JQ, VA, QF, EK, SQ, KE, CZ, VS, VN, LH and TG all in the last 3 months, service and food are all the same. I wish I could tell the difference.

And now with the AUD dropped 10% and still dropping, AUS has suddenly become less attractive to a lot of foreign carriers that run on USD based and Qantas cost based has dropped respectively. Let's hope they post a profit this year and start paying dividend soon.
