Yep, no doubt that is a consideration and your opinion has value beyond those who see it through kooky right spectacles.
By contrast though. If we as a society require a percentage of people to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity, why should the rest of us carry those who don't wish to participate considering there will already be a pool of non-responders (10% or so). Especially those who suspend reason on ideological grounds like with the wilful annoyance they have caused thus far throughout the pandemic. Its a lot like the measles in kindy vaccine argument.
Also, take into account that of average people who get covid over 65% suffer scarring damage to the heart muscle which it is too early to know what long term consequence that will have but insurers are wanting to include covid as a precondition now. Choose your poison I guess.
Ultimately, its a moot point really because they can forget travel insurance if they don't wish the vaccine and a $100k post-holiday bill isn't good for one's health either.
