It seems to me that Qantas has understood the primacy of demography..viz: Asia has the numbers and the growth ..
so what to do ? Become an investment bank leveraging its expertise and networks ,relationships with the whole industry supply chain ..i can well imagine a future wherein Qantas morphs into a specialist investment banking house -a Winged
Rothschilds morphed from The Flying Kangaroo.
Just hope that it doesnt get taken over before delivering some value to shareholders ,,,but Wall St and others could be licking their chops under brand 'that never Crashed' unlike others in Wall St et al...
