I mean these are troubled times for the airline industry.
Qantas since privatisation has been a corporate golden goose - ripe for many pickings because of the brand name (ie. Aus tendancy toward jingoism). The govt of the time sold it for a penny in hindsight. Set it up to attract the jackals of the business world.
