I'm not making any judgement, libart.
The action is very dramatic and I can't think of any airline that has done this before. Seems that I'm not the only person surprised.
Ansett simply went broke (and subsequent travellers bailed out the company to the extent they paid for employees entitlements through a tax on travel).
This time the government is staying out of it - at least for now.
I wonder how long it will take and whether the airline will survive.
