Air New Zealand has weighed in today, basically accusing Qantas of throwing a hissy fit.
Qantas can have a share issue any time it likes, just like Virgin. Its pretty obvious that Qantas' problem is not lack of bums on seats, or capital. It is management's inability to accept drastic change.
