The unions not so bad these days, in fact moving toward requiring more union action as the workforce is becoming too insecure which is bad for business. Often business collectively shoot itself in the foot. Without a middel class business has troubes. Yet no business want to pay the wages of the middle class.

Clear to anyone these days corporate greed has trashed more than one economy globally.

Balnce is key and Qantas pilots have resonabel demands. The baggehandlers dersve some fair workign conditins. Not sure what the caterers are after. I see no really hardship compared to the errors Qantas have made at management level.Maybe this will rpove t ab anotehr. I would nto go near their shares with a barge pole after this so cannto see what use it to anyone on eiethr side of the political fence. Suicide for ego sake imo. Hurting investors, workers and customers en masse.
