The reduction of US treasury bond holdings of those countries that are in the BRICS camp(already in the group and those wanting to join or had been invited to attend the recent BRICS summit) may be a telltale sign that they are preparing for the eventual move away from USD. The question is when will these holdings be depleted sufficiently low to the point that the impact of the introduction of a BRICS reserve currency will have a minimal on the value of the holdings?
Perhaps a sharp month-month drop in the holdings may signal an imminent introduction of the BRICS reserve currency? Interesting time.
