Yesterday Daily gross short sell represented 62.21% of volume.

It's a gold mine of information.
On Monday 14 March, the first day of trading after the tsunami hit Japan the gross short sells were only 29.61%. A week later on the 21 March, it had built up to about 47%. Volume peaked at 72.60% on the 23 March.
As Jossette suggested I think we can be confident that the DRP is playing a big part in the short selling volume.
It will be interesting to read today's gross short report. Volume was very high and l hope the squeeze last a bit longer.
