Huninni, i wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for QBE to "explode" on 1st April and certainly wouldn't be betting my house on it!
There have been way too many false hopes with this stock i.e. so many brokers / advisors recommending but not being reflected in the share price.
I'd say the last week the banks have been great value and now that they've started to shift up QBE is looking like good value in the financial stocks.
I am a holder and do believe it is an excellent long term buy but dont want to be dissappointed by having false hopes come 1st April. I'm happy to wait and receive decent divdends over the next 12 months and hopefully some decent capital gains.
