A couple of questions:-

1. who pays if QBE loses? No doubt current shareholders will suffer one way or another.

2. why are the only people affected those who bought during the specified dates? Surely people who already had shares were just as disadvantaged?

3. How is that 20 years ago, the company I worked for reforecast their profit within 5 days after end of month and they were a pretty big multinational company. Has technology not made this any better in 20 years? If systems are not in place then directors are not meeting their risk management responsibilities and deserve everything they get.
