A definite stuff-up in 2013.
The new CEO understands QBE well and would not have made that statement that it is not material unless he is sure. He can't afford to get it wrong. I can only assume that previous guidance included this type of amount. Hence no sell off. It was expected.
Now QBE starts with a clean slate (but nervous shareholders!). I will continue to hold, for some price recover and improved US conditions for the company.
