Here's an interesting thing.
You are forever reading on HC threads people winging about shorters driving the sp down in a stock.

The shorts figures I provided in a couple of different posts above fly in the face of that argument.

2/5 40% of turnover is short
3/5 55.5% of turnover is short
6/5 66.5% of turnover is short
7/5 39% of turnover is short
8/5 42.79% of turnover is short
9/5 34.5% of turnover is short
10/5 42.5% of turnover is short

So the remaining percentages of turnover on each of those days was enough to keep driving the sp skyward, with some very handsome gains on most days!
