Mitsui( Japanese insurer) buys Amlin insurance( UK) at a multiple of 2.4 times its net tangible value per share.
Based on this price, qbe as at 30 June 2015, had a NTA of USD$5.31 per share. In AUD, this equates to $7.58 per share.
So, at a similar multiple of 2.4 times, Qbe would be valued at AUD $18.20 per share.
