Media says it is likely this treatment may address circa 60% of cancers and will enter 2nd phase human trials next year.
All sounds a bit quick and I don't think this is an FDA sanctioned trial rather a locally authorised ( by whom I know not at this stage) Australian trial.
The relationship to CDY and MK detection is a an indeterminate one at this stage however clearly does not replace CDY IP. For instance, would it treat a solid brain tumor by direct injection ?.. I wouldn't know however that would seem a dramatic process.
The media article I viewed was for a melanoma tumor and had pretty dramatic response.
