yes, the Liberal Party will need to put up new and constructive policies with new faces to espouse these new policies, and of course in the mean time keeping the new government accountable for its policies and actions.

Yes, the Labor Party has quite a few talented new parliamentary members. Let's hope their tallents will be put to effective use on the various House of Representatives committees.
I am excited by the new fresh air originating from this new federal government. What we need to see though is for the various state governments to pull up their socks and start making amends on the bread-and-butter issues, like state roads, state hospitals and wealthcare. I do think the Rudd government can play a crucial and leading role in turning the state ships, not easy but can be done.
