Have thought for a while since coming across these canine cases, that TT should be tailored to a multimodal treatment. In some cases as per current method, instant release/ action, but in others a slow or extended release especially if tumour is large and proximal to others. Might help with wound management, pain etc, and with multi proximal tumours. Extended release is common for pharmaceuticals, eg. common painkillers, and ritalin, amongst others. Just my view, of course.
