Contrary to what has been stated already, this is not a critisism of the auditors that may have run over the books in the past.
There are checks and then there are checks. A forensic accountant can dig deeper and run analysis that a standard audit wouldn't typically do. That's all I am prepared to say on this for fear of being accused of making unwarranted accusations.
