"This is the company who tried gold and failed. Tried bauxite and failed. Is now trying pot, and may indeed fail. Even if they don't, there is something to be said for the fact this company has been running on investors dreams for many, many years and never delivered."

A point that is very well made - in my view. And it is an interesting theme to explore - I think.

For those of us who have been around for a little while - watching the fad stocks is something of a curiosity.

Can anyone guess what is coming next (it is already here I suppose)? .... drum roll .... AI - in my view.

Anyway, I return to the theme of the post.

I think that these guys also had a crack at phosphate as well. Remember the phosphate hoopla - the one with all of the fertiliser shortage nonsense and the islands of guano and the riches to be found?

And then the appeal case - (dismissed).

    Note: paras 2, 4, 9, 14 (b)(iii) and (iv), 15, 22, 24 (b), 30, 34, 43,

As an aside, the appeal case and subsequent decision by the court is of general interest as it provides guidance on the 'formalities' required for Offer and Acceptance.

As for the MM - I believe that there are some patterns emerging that reflect the bauxite 'projects'. The reader can draw their own conclusions.

I have asked where the company is at with the Scoping Study.

I recall one of the 'push' points for QBL bauxite projects being the Indonesian export ban on "unprocessed mineral ores". This, from memory, became a big talking point on HC as well. And then HCGhost (aka HappyCats) started asking questions.

More Scoping Study! This one uses terms such as, "low risk", "low cost", "highly profitable", "significant free cash flows", "mining estimated start date: second half 2015"

Reinstatement to quotation (29 December 2014).

I could do the same for 2015, 16, and 17. However, the above might provide enough reading for further consideration by anyone who has an interest in researching their investments.

To conclude, @Neil1959 you wrote this in post (#34719728), "... may I suggest that you either ask the poster to share the whole email or contact the company to get clarification?"

Yesterday, I asked you to do exactly the same thing and quote the post that supported your claim where you note that you had to, ".. address a post that has been placed in here that has misinformation about the capability of the Directors of QBL."

Respectfully, I am unable to find anything that supports this claim or a response from you highlighting the actual post you referred to. I am sure that it is nothing more than a simple oversight on your behalf.

If not, then I wonder whether you think that it is reasonable to ask other posters to do that which you have, so far, not undertaken yourself? Perhaps you have already?

I would be appreciative if you could share the link where you do address that specific question with the thread.

And post #34720066, "Let's be honest here, how many companies do you know, do that, and from the MD no less???"

It is a very good question indeed. I have often wondered why QBL would expend resources on this type of activity - what is the motivation? Curious to say the least.
