I don’t see what is this hard to understand about the harvest, this has been talked about multiple times. They planted 20t in November or December and harvested 80t. It fell well short of the predicted 500t, hence why Neil and the company have been explaining environmental factors as to why it fell short. The current winter crops, the next spring crop, the next summer crop and every crop after we’re in no way factored into the December announcement that stated what they had planted and were expecting to harvest. Read the announcement 7/12/17 I have posted a link to it previously.
The initial harvest wasn’t the “be all and end all”, but the yield was heavily overestimated. It’s not the end of the world and I’m sure a good learning experience for Andrew and the farmers alike, although it’s a bad look, it’s most likely just a speed bump in the path they’re taking, however large of a bump it may be.
