UPDATE ON JARAD RATCLIFF

Good morning guys,

Medcan and QBL have concluded their external and internal investigations. Here are the Final results.

FINAL REPORT - MEDCAN AUSTRALIA/QBL
QBL and Medcan have now concluded their internal investigations on Medcan's Lead Cultivator and Head Horticulturist, Jarad Ratcliff.

Results

1. Question of Due Diligence
a) QBL was not required to undertake a due diligence background check on Jarad as this was
not an internal employee matter.
b) Medcan conducted their internal due diligence and prospective employee checks before agreeing to engage Jarad's services. There were no flags raised by any authorities. There were no existing police records on file for Jarad Ratcliff.
c) Jarad had passed US regulatory checks for dealing with Medical Cannabis in his previous employment.

2. Why were there Media records, of an arrest, on the Internet?
Medcan is in the process of engaging an internet deleting specialist who will remove the remaining trace files. Jarad's police history is clear.

3. What checks were undertaken in the 2nd investigation?

At the request of the Board of QBL, Medcan conducted a complete and thorough investigation of this prospective employee and management candidate. The following checks were undertaken:
* FBI records - all clear.
* Local County and State police records - all clear
* Employer references - checked and all clear
* Trade qualifications - checked and all clear
* ASIO checks - all clear
* Visa Immigration process (currently underway)
* No issues with the Office of Drug Control

4. QBL has completed its investigation.

At the request of the Board of QBL, Jarad had a 2-hour interview with our MCL Director and herbologist, John Easterling.

The following points were discussed.
Lights
Grow environment. Temp humidity co2 air circulation etc
Nutrients
Soil amendments
Strains
Pest management
Flower cycles
Drying technique
Curing methods
Trimming
Extraction

John's summary assessment:

I can say there are only a few people in the world that I can engage in the level of conversation we had on the cannabis plant. He understands and appreciates how to consciously bring this plant to its fullest therapeutic potential.

I enthusiastically recommend bringing Jared onto the team as a lead cultivator. I'm confident he will be a strong asset to the brand.

Medcan are happy to confirm a further round of character checks have come back clear for Jarad. This now concludes a full second round of formal police checks on Jarad including FBI checks, State police checks, and immigration checks. We are delighted to welcome him to the team and are privileged to have someone of his calibre leading our cultivation program.

The Board of QBL is satisfied with the results of all the investigations and support Medcan's choice of candidate for their new Lead Cultivator. We can confirm that the reference and employee checks were rigorous and thorough. We are very happy to welcome Jarad to the Medcan team.
