Conveyor - rail - trucking - all the above.
if they think that there is upside in the acreage stands to reason there is going to be a longer term strategy at play.
i agree that it's heavy traffic on trucking alone, so they will need to think laterally.
A bulk 4-5 mt pa solution will require the rail and conveyor no doubt. Maybe they need to address the logistics with some more detail - and view to bring on board a strategic partner who can provide the solutions. The blending option would allow them to increase the tonnage to justify the capital . - in which case you will have multiple areas being mined and feeding the same stockpile so your traffic doesn't all follow the same routes .
So what I'm saying is instead of a pilot DSO , cost the blending and the other conveors capital etc, and offtake to that spec, not the DSO, but higher tonnages.
If you build a conveyor or rail then you want to get best advantage from it.
Just a thought.

The sequence of overland conveyors at Gove, have/had, a total continuous length of 37kms., from mine to Port load out. If you have a look at google earth, it is possible to see the full length of the conveyor system, from Pit to Port...Simple, easy to relocate and maintain, and a damn site cheaper than trucking.
