In some places....dunno where it says Australia. I hope mining companies do consider hemp to regenerate their mining land.
But the wheels are in motion for similar things to happen here. While it's not necessarily mining land the principal is kind of the same..
Firstly Keith Bolton has been using crops including hemp to prevent sewage getting dumped into our oceans

Also as mentioned the conversation about hemp being grown on mining lands was actually one of the first conversations Pnina and AK talked about.
