BTW I am not arguing against structural separation, TLS's FTTN plan was flawed and doomed due to insistence to retain the infrastructure. But TLS's FTTN plan is perfectly fine if it is nationalised infrastructure. And you don't need spin doctored McKinsey reports claiming commercial viability IN 15+ years using inaccurate assumptions @ 6% return AFTER 15 years ROTFL what kinda junk business case are you presenting?
And FYI, 30+Mb is possible on copper if under 1km, google the term VDSL. Its out there right now. Pay 4.7 billion for 30+mb for most or 47 million for 100Mb?
Finally where do you think a massive majority of this traffic is going to go. Overseas. How's NBN gonna help.... oh wait.... maybe didn't think this one through....
