Looking at their cashflow they burnt through $10m in the last half. I figure they’ll do the same for the next 6 months. Most likely they’ll need to do a capital raising towards the end of this year. I think the CEO, CFO and the Board need to have a hard look at themselves and ask do we have a product or service that’s going to create a meaningful and sustainable business in the long term. If there are no barriers to entry and there are other payment services/bnpl providers out there in the US who are doing a better job then the focus should be to try and create shareholder valuer and focus on break even cashflow and then subsequently profit. Does quickfee have a long term competitive advantage? Nope. There are zero barriers to entry!
