Hi SSS,

It's unfortunate that the first reply you received to your question was an example why you should stay clear of sites like HC and never take tips on a stock especially a penny dreadful. Hopefully it will be the cheapest lesson you'll ever have on why it's important to never ask for,receive or give tips of any kind.

The only answer you should of received in this thread on whether to invest $500 in QFX or any other stock as someone new to HC and investing/trading is NO.

The best thing you can do with $500 or what ever is now left, would be to invest in educating yourself, don't even touch the markets with real cash until you have been able to successfully paper trade a small account for at least two years.

For $500 you could of enrolled in an Accounting Course, learn the basics of accounting, how to read a balance sheet is first priority. The first lesson to learn about a balance sheet is to completely ignore any statements from the CEO or anyone else in the company as generally they are pure spin and just a sales pitch for the next capital raising.. Concentrate on just the numbers, they will provide a snapshot of the company and reveal it's true position.

Once you've successfully studied the basics of accounting and gained some experience reading balance sheets, then look to expand your education with good books. You don't need to buy dozens, there are a few key books which will teach you everything from charting to market psychology. You could probably order all you need from Amazon for under $200

Further, stay away from penny dreadful stocks (generally stocks with MC below 1b), they are the bottom end of the market for good reason, unfortunately they mainly appeal to inexperienced investors/traders looking to get rich quick who think they will be buying a yacht, paying off their mortgage and having holidays in the Med before xmas.
