Entirely plausible BK,he does have by far the largest landholding and a long association with Newmont.
ES has already stated his intention to be operator and if Newmont or any other big miner is looking to upstage that scenario.
they may well feel threatened enough to do a deal with ARV.
Quite possibly the exact same reason why DEG were happy to see DGO take a stake .
If extreme wealth is perceived they will all be looking over their shoulder,including KLA.
The fact that Pacton have built a position so quickly by taking out some of the other strategic plays is farther testimony..
