    One thing that intrigues me about this imbroglio is this article

    Looking at the QIN story they say it commenced in 1999, trees take 15 years to fully mature, so we are getting close to when they should have maximum harvesting. It seems passing strange that out of nowhere we get this just when you would think QIN is about to hit it's straps.

    When the MIS debacle happened, how did QIN survive that? Only now are there suggestions that because it didn't fall it should now fall? Is that the only reason, because Timbercorp and Great Southern fell how dare QIN survive?
