May not affect all but this one does affect a lot of the SE Qld holiday makers onto Stradbroke Is.

Not many people paying attention to the news tonight as watching the footy tonight so they decide to increase the annual permit fees to drive on the beach on N Stradbroke Is from around $47 to $158, the previous $47 fee was for any length of time for 12 months. Most won't realise this until they pay the fee coming up the this Christmas break.

May not seem much but this affects thousands of people visiting the island and being the closest to Brisbane for a lot of holiday makers.

They seem to put a lot of late Sunday night issues through like the signing of the cross river rail project was another one.
