It will take probably less than a week to see whether this is brilliant strategy from the Qld Govt, or something less.
The Qld Govt has doubled down now by also saying they don't support a cheap loan to Adani to assist the 388km railway build required to get product to shipping terminals because this is entirely a federal decision with federal funds. Anna could have expressed his politely, but she used language clearly intended to slap down the Turnbull Govt.
Adani have sunk so much of their future into this project that I imagine there is no strong resolve from within to walk from it.
